18 years’ experience teaching EFL and linguistics in private language schools, colleges, universities and university partnership/pathway companies in the UK, Italy, Sweden and China.

15 years’ experience in leadership and management roles in colleges and private higher education sector in the UK.

 

Research Interests

Materials development in EFL, and the significance of linguistics and the unconscious mind in the field of management and organisation.

 

Direction of Teaching Activities

Delivering lectures focusing on academic teaching and linguistics for business through development of receptive and productive language skills.  This teaching is based on specialist business and management language in contemporary contexts, delivered through a variety of methodologies including task-based learning and the lexical approach.
